Important Notes

Enrollment

  • Participants must study the rules and regulations listed below carefully. Once the enrollment process is completed, participants hereby agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the event.
  • The Organiser will issue an acknowledgment email in 10 working days after receiving the application. If you do not receive it, please contact the Organiser immediately (email address: [email protected] & Tel: (852) 2117 1650).
  • In the case of duplicate registrations, the Organiser will only accept the first application.
  • Late or on-site enrollment will not be accepted.
  • During the activity, all participants must wear the life jacket which is provided by the Organiser. Failure to comply with this rule will result in disqualification.

Collection of event materials

  • An email notice regarding collection of event materials will be sent to the registered participants two weeks before the event day.

Health and safety advice

  • Participants should make sure their health conditions are suitable for the activity. In case of any doubts, please seek medical advice in advance.
  • Participants must have a clear understanding of the event details and nature, and be aware that this event requires physical exertion. Participants should ensure that their health condition is suitable for participating in the event. The Organiser advises all participants to be mindful of their personal physical condition and suitability for the activity. If any discomfort arises during the event, please immediately cease the activity and seek assistance from on-site staff.
  • Participants should take protective measures against UV, such as applying sunscreen, wearing caps and drinking water.
  • Any person who is pregnant or with chronic diseases, like heart disease and high blood pressure, should not participate in the event.
  • The Organiser reserve the right to disallow or disqualify any person who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the event and such person shall accept.
  • Public liability insurance is covered by the Organiser. Participants are also advised to purchase personal accident insurance on their own.

Bad Weather

  • If Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is hoisted at any time from 8:00 am on the day before event, the event will be cancelled.
  • If the Red or Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted at any time from 4:00 am on the event day, the event will be cancelled.
  • If a thunderstorm warning is hoisted during the event, the organizer will make event arrangements based on actual conditions until the minefield is far away from the event area.
  • In the event that the Hong Kong Observatory forecasts inclement weather on the day of the event or if there is a possibility of any of the aforementioned warning signals being hoisted, the Organiser has the right to announce a postponement of the event.
  • Participants are advised to check the weather on the event day from the Hong Kong Observatory website or Hotline (Tel: 1878200).
  • The Organiser has the final decision to terminate or cancel the event.

Others

  • Participants of Water Adventures can store their personal belongings in the luggage storage area. Please refrain from carrying any valuable items, as the Organiser will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or compensation.
  • Should there be any emergencies or assistance needed during the event, participants shall contact the on-site staff at the information center.
  • All gifts are non-exchangeable for cash.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to amend or clarify the above rules and regulations.
